What is Good Medicine? Good Medicine is an all-Native stand-up comedy show produced and hosted by Jackie Keliiaa. Keliiaa began producing Good Medicine virtually in May 2020 to showcase Native comedians and fundraise for tribes impacted by COVID-19, raising over $11,000 for charitable causes.
Good Medicine has been selling out venues across the Bay Area and beyond. Thank you to our partners Cal Shakes, the Oakland Museum of California, and Idyllwild Arts Academy. Good Medicine has been funded by The Alliance for California Traditional Arts, The Dean & Margaret Lesher Foundation, The Zellerbach Family Foundation, The City of Oakland Cultural Fund, and the East Bay Community Foundation among others.
